Conflicts and disputes are unavoidable in construction projects and even in other projects. Therefore, it is essential to know how to prevent disputes before they arise. If disputes arise, the project team must spend their time resolving disputes before they become major issues. This is why you should know how to mitigate and prevent disputes and finally the way of dispute resolution.
I had the opportunity to conduct another masterclass in Malaysia on the topic ‘Conflict Avoidance and Dispute Resolution in Contracts’. We mainly discussed contract provisions under the PWD forms of contract and the PAM standard form of contract.
The 2-day workshop was interactive, and delegates found it a helpful course for them to improve their knowledge on how to resolve disputes contractually.
